It is no
accident that many graduates of seminaries have little faith in God
Did you know that many clergy and rabbis do not believe the Bible (or the Torah) is God's Word, do not believe that miracles from God really happen, and do not believe that God can be known personally.
Few people know the
nefarious influence that came into American seminaries in the
19th-century from Germany via England, where scholars worked to prove
- that the historical Jesus was not divine,
- that God left the working of the universe to happenstance, or
- that He is fiction.
Much of their thinking entered the
training grounds of future clergy and rabbis, and it has taken an
extraordinary toll over the years.
Today it is rare to meet a minister who knows their
God personally and who can lead others into a personal one-on-one
loving relationship with Him. People who go to their pastors and rabbis don't realize that these spiritual leaders often do not personally know God or the WAY to Him.
Yet God's desire IS to be known and to be close to us. That is why
in the Book of Ezekiel He laments that the shepherds drive His people away from Him
-- not to Him--, and why He says that one day He Himself will come to
gather His sheep, and set up shepherds of Israel who tend His flock and lead His sheep in His WAY.
That day is now dawning for the LORD OF HOSTS.

In our efforts to adjust differences of opinion we should be free from intolerance of passion, and our judgements should be unmoved by alluring phrases and unvexed by selfidh interests.

I agree that in dialogue about important matters of faith, we need to encourage intelligent and profitable discussion. And to have good discussion we need to be ready to hear impassioned statements and not be put off by people's emotions about what they think.
Also, we need to be wary of catch phrases that can be added into discussion that may sound "politically correct," but take people away from accurate evaluation of a point being made. Finally, a person may have less than perfect character or motives, but still be making a valid point! So much needs to be rethought in the days ahead for God's people to really apprehend the mind of Christ and how His Kingdom functions. We need to get ready to think outside the box with a renewed mind that sees the box as just part of the natural world.

As long as there is a kind of infinite self-confidence heart filled with a strong will, and independence, someday I will be successful.Do you think so?

That is a lot to take on. You would need to speak kindly and respectfully of individuals. Perhaps you could interview some pastors about their personal beliefs and personal knowledge of the LORD and relationship with Him.

This note is to Jordan. No matter HOW self-confident you are or strong willed, life will deal you hands that you never expect and have no control over. Best always is to know the living God and trust in His leading and care for you, even as you do your best to serve and follow Him on the course He has designed for your life. HE DEFINITELY KNOWS BEST> He is a good Father.
